Shannon
Altman Quarter Horses s located in Aynor, South
Carolina. We are only five miles from Hwy 501 and SC Hwy
22. Ten minutes from Conway and only twenty minutes from
Myrtle Beach.
The Facility sits upon ten acres of lush green pasture,
surrounded by thousands of acres of wooded trails and
sandy roads. Our equestrian facility includes a 46 X 97
eleven stall barn, complete with grooming areas, hot water
wash stall, automatic waters and lights with timers in
each stall. For training Shannon Altman Quarter Horses
has a 100' X 150' all weather footing arena, 40'
round pen, and a four horse hot walker and a full jump
course.
Shannon Altman Quarter Horses is a private training and
boarding equestrian facility. Owned by Shannon Altman,
dedicated to promoting the equestrian industry in Horry
County. Shannon Altman gives riding lessons to youth and
amateur riders of all ages and riding levels, and trains
horses for western pleasure and hunter under saddle.
Shannon prides herself in training quality quarter
horses, and being involved with great equestrian people
throughout the state of North and South Carolina. At
Shannon Altman Quarter Horses' it's not all about going
to horse shows, there are several activities and
functions such as trail rides and equestrian camps.
Every year Shannon has a summer equestrian camps along
with a Christmas Camp. In these camps, the students
spend most of the time on horse back. Safety and
horsemanship skills are implied, along with games and
trail riding.
